When someone approaches the world of wine for the first time, they often tend to associate the different levels of development and aging of a wine with quality; but nothing could be further from the truth. The aging a wine goes through does not necessarily equate to quality, but refers to a process through which the wine acquires different characteristics; just different, neither better nor worse. Therefore, we can enjoy magnificent young wines.
Our Tinto Joven young wine is characterized by multiple pleasurable sensations on the palate. It is an explosion of aromas, with a sparkle from fermentation that makes it lively, refreshing, bold, and unabashed. It has low tannins, which gives it a light flavor and a lot of spunk.
It is the ideal wine to drink with friends – a great excuse to get together and celebrate.

Vegetables are king of the Riojan garden. Sometimes vegetables are served on their own, cooked and dressed with olive oil, especially those in season, such as the vegetable medley with battered and fried artichokes. Other dishes, however, contain small pieces of chorizo or ham, our zero-kilometer dry cured meats from La Rioja. But the best pairings are sometimes the simplest: cured Rioja chorizo sausage with a mild and appetizing aroma, or the very rich and succulent Camerano cheese, or pears in red wine.
This red wine is the original wine of the winery, where it all began. It is the pure grape juice from our area. We only use grapes from our family vineyards and from our traditional suppliers. All the grapes are harvested by hand, to ensure the best quality of the fruit.
We select our clusters in the vineyard. The magical process then begins in the winery, where all the sugar in the berries is gradually transformed into alcohol, giving off the most amazing perfume anyone can imagine.
That way, we get this wonderful purplish, dark red juice, cheerful, fun, and sometimes sassy.
APPEARANCE: Red color with purple hues, bright and clean.
NOSE: Aromas of red fruit, floral notes, peach skin, and white fruit are highlighted against a lively and refreshing background.
PALATE: The palate is fleshy, structured, fruity, with good acidity, and a long lingering finish highlighted by red fruit.
The good weather conditions of 2021 definitely facilitated ripening and contributed to an outstanding vintage. The longer harvest period aided slow phenolic ripening and selective picking.
The 2021 vintage was synonymous with structure, color and, of course, Rioja’s unique complexity.
The red wines stood out for color intensity, aromatic complexity, and their ability to link their nuances to Rioja soils. The polyphenolic content gave this type of wine great balance. Structurally, the tannins of enormous oenological potential highlighted the extraordinary ripeness of the vintage.
